The HPE Aruba Networking Access Point Trade Up Program is a promotional offer that helps organizations refresh legacy wireless hardware and move to next generation Wi‑Fi.

With this program, you can trade in eligible legacy access points and purchase select new HPE Aruba Networking AP 6xx Series (Wi‑Fi 6E) or AP 7xx Series access points. The goal is to help you:

• Increase network capacity and available channels
• Enhance efficiency and improve throughput
• Strengthen security with newer Wi‑Fi standards

In short, the program is designed to help you reimagine and modernize your wireless infrastructure while managing costs and simplifying the transition from older hardware.

The Trade Up Program focuses on helping you move from older access points to newer Wi‑Fi 6E and AP‑7xx models.

Eligible legacy hardware includes:

• HPE Aruba Networking AP 1xx Series
• HPE Aruba Networking AP 2xx Series
• HPE Aruba Networking AP 3xx Series
• Certain legacy Cisco access points that qualify under the program

When you trade up to select new HPE Aruba Networking AP 6xx Series Wi‑Fi 6E or AP 7xx Series access points, you can receive:

• Up to $100 rebate per eligible AP
• A minimum of 50 trade‑up APs per order is required

To confirm exactly which models qualify and what rebate level applies to your environment, you should work with your HPE Aruba Networking sales team or authorized partner. They can validate eligibility and guide you through the claim process.

The program is designed to help you both modernize your network and advance your sustainability objectives.

You have two main options for handling legacy access points:

• Self-decommission: Your IT team can remove and decommission the old APs on its own.
• HPE Asset Upcycling service: You can use HPE’s service to recycle legacy hardware in a way that is secure, globally consistent, and environmentally responsible.

By using the Asset Upcycling service, you can:

• Reduce e‑waste by ensuring proper recycling of legacy devices
• Support corporate sustainability and ESG commitments
• Gain confidence that data on decommissioned devices is handled securely

Your HPE Aruba Networking sales team or authorized partner can help you choose the right decommissioning approach and align it with your organization’s sustainability strategy.
